Birthday week and other happenings

Our birthday girl on the phone with her Maka (my mom) before school.

Celebrating with her class at school

I got a phone call from Bella's teacher that she wasn't feeling well and I should come pick her up early. When I picked her up, she was burning up with fever. We went home, put on some soft and snuggly pajamas, and settled down on the sofa. Little did I know at the time, this would continue for the next five days. The poor thing has been sick with an aweful cold and a high fever (104.5 at the highest!) all weekend. Her spirits perked up for presents after dinner- here's a couple pics of the birthday loot:

Here's the cake we had planned to serve at her party on Saturday. We decided Friday night to cancel the party since her fever was still terribly high and showing no signs of breaking.

These are from today. It was a pajama's day again. Bella's fever was finally down, but her cold symptoms were worse than ever. It didn't stop us from enjoying Mommy's new Mother's Day gift out in the front yard!

Oh my stars. She's 3 but looks about 12. When did this happen?

Also, maybe her fever wouldn't be so high if you didn't leave her on the stove. Just a thought.

What a cutie pie!! Sorry to hear you had to cancel the party, but it still looks like she managed to have a good time :-)

I love the dolly & me dresses - where did you get those? I saw 1 for Easter (for $70 at Dillard's), but I haven't seen them anymore.

Hugs,
Beth

I am so sorry to hear she's been so sick, poor thing. Hope she's on the road to recovery soon. What a beautiful little girl and her cake is so cute.

I just can't believe how big she is getting - she will driving before we know it! (and if that is not a scary thought, I don't know what it is.....)

Glad she is better now - too bad the party had to be cancelled - means you have to do twice as much next year!
